"My Auntie Ethel"
My Auntie Ethel embodied the special word AUNTIE in so many ways. Even the letters in the word Auntie describe her.
Here are a few ways:
"A" Absolute, she had such a beautiful out look on life, for what was out there for the perserving person.
"U" A woman of great Understanding to the problems that surround us.
"N" Auntie Ethel met the Necessities of the day. Even with 3 boys, when the Need arose she was there to help our family with our boys.
"T" Truthfulness was a great attribute of my Auntie Ethel, she would tell it like it was.
"I" Independent was a standby for Auntie Ethel. For many years, showing her independence & fortitude. Maintaining her camp, she would open the door with a smile for all who would enter her door.
"E" Everyone, a word not carelessly used by Auntie Ethel, she would treat all with the same thoughtfulness. I don't know how many hundreds of greeting cards she sent to any of the children. She was always sending greeting cards for every occasion. She never forgot a Christmas, birthday, congraduations, marriage, sickness, thinking of you, or sympathy etc....
We were so BLESSED to know our AUNTIE ETHEL. Love, Beverly Mack

Aunt Ethel, Great Aunt Ethel & Great Great Aunt Ethel was very special to all of us. We have many memories of her and Uncle Gordan at camp in Denmark , family get togethers for many celebrations and occasions. She always greeted you with a welcoming smile and would ask "How & what everyone was doing?" She remembered everyone with a card at christmas.
We had the opportunity to visit with her at Edgewood Manor and she just wanted to talk about everyone and everything. Aunt Ethel was a very special lady and she enjoyed life & her family & friends and said she enjoyed their company and sharing with them.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to her sons and their families and all those who have had the opportunity to know & love Ethel.
Phil & Jan & Family.
