Frank Fulhan Obituary

Frank J. Fulhan Jr., 78
April 23, 1933 - Sept. 2, 2011
NEW BEDFORD, Mass., DOVER, N.H. & CAPE ELIZABETH -- Frank J. Fulhan Jr., 78, of Dover, N.H., passed away on Sept. 2, 2011, at Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham, Mass. He was the husband of Josephine A. Fulhan.
Born in New Bedford, Mass., he was the son of the late Frank J. Fulhan Sr. and the late Alice Hotte Fulhan. Frank was a longtime resident of Cape Elizabeth for 38 years before moving to Dover, N.H., in 2010.
Frank graduated from New Bedford High School and then served four years in the U.S. Air Force before beginning a 35 year career in sales with Nabisco Brands. Frank took tremendous pride in his career and in caring for his customers as though they were cherished friends. He took even greater pride and invested special love in caring for his family, for whom he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Frank was deeply loved for his dedication, integrity, thoughtfulness, gregarious nature, attention to detail and many other traits that made him a 'rock' for all who knew him.
Frank was an avid sports fan, who had a lifelong love of the Red Sox. He enjoyed exercising, golf, yard work, the business world, investing, politics, doing things the right way and many other pursuits. But more than anything, Frank loved being with and caring for his family and friends, most especially his three grandchildren.
In addition to Josie, his wife of 46 years, Frank is survived by his son, Frank Fulhan and his wife Jill, and their sons Matthew and Alex of Ashland, Mass.; daughter Kimberly Nute and her husband Jim, and their daughter Emily of Dover, N.H.; and sister Anne Murphy of New Bedford, Mass.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, Sept. 12, at 11 a.m., in St. Matthew's Church, 105 Southville Rd., in Southborough, Mass. www.mataresefuneral.com.

Frank will be Missed Forever!!

I am very sorry about Frank's passing. He was our neighbor on Fenway Road in Cape for 14 years. Some called him the "Mayor". He took his daily 5 mile plus walk to Ram Island talking with people as he went. He was friendly, uplifting, well versed on many topics, and a man of great wisdom on life.
He obtained Red Sox and Patriots tickets with great seats for our family.
We shared a birthday.
He will certainly be missed.

Frank was a very close friend (more like family) to all of the Egans. He was a great man who will be missed dearly. My love to all especially "Aunt Fulina". God Bless

Frank was a customer of mine at Key Bank. I always enjoyed our conversations and the advice Frank gave. He will be missed.

My God I cannot believe Frank is gone--I'm sad we didn't keep in touch more often after we retired. I dealt with Frank in business (Carr Bros. Co.) for many years and also on the golf course where Frank wasn't always sure what county his drive would land in.. A true friend and solid man was Frank-- Our sympathies to Josie and family...
