James Sonny
    Coutts III, 72
     WINDHAM -- James Sonny Coutts III, 72, of Windham, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday ,Aug. 19, 2007, with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer.
     He was born in Natick, Mass., June 8, 1935, the son of James Coutts II and Mary Puckey. He had two sisters Virginia and Kathy. He married the love of his life, Marion Natalie McKay on July 29, 1954. He was an avid fan of the Red Sox, had an interest in antique cars, enjoyed playing cards and horseshoes, going camping, and spending time with his family and friends.
     He owned Rayco Auto Upholstery in Natick, Mass., for 10 years before moving to Maine where he then opened Ace Auto Top & Upholstery in Windham, which he owned for 32 years. Sonny is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Marion Coutts of Windham; five daughters, Dorothy Langevin of Portland, Mary Jane Strumph and her husband Jerry of Standish, Patty Mains and her companion David of Oxford, Tammy Winslow and her husband Larry of Windham, Heather Coutts Clark and her husband Marty of South Portland; seven grandchildren, Matthew, Natalie, Rebecca and her husband Bobby, Misty, Leslie, Jarek, and Whitney; and three great-grandchildren, Deija, Norberto III, and Malaya.
     The family would like to thank the Oncology Department at Mercy Hospital, with special thanks to Nurse Karen and Dr. Inhorn.
     Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 23, 2007, at the North Windham Union Church at 2 p.m. No visitation. Burial will take place at Arlington Cemetery, North Windham immediately following the service. Friends may send on-line condolence to: www.dolbyfuneralchapels.com.

MARION AND FAMILY, JOHN AND I WERE SO SAD TO HEAR OF SONNY'S PASSING. WE WISH WE COULD HAVE GOTTEN UP THERE BEFORE HE PASSED AWAY. WE HAVE WONDERFUL MEMORIES OF HIM AND YOU AND THE FAMILY THAT WE KEEP IN OUR HEARTS.HE WAS A WONDERFULL HUSBAND AND FATHER AND FRIEND. HE WILL BE MISSED.
