Jennifer Gerow Obituary
SCARBOROUGH -- Jennifer Russell Gerow passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013, at Gosnell Hospice surrounded by close friends and relatives. Jenn enjoyed a chemo and radiation-free year full of sun and love, in which she swam with the dolphins and was serenaded by well-known singer Michael Franti. She was also the subject of a beautiful cinematic plea for death with dignity under the powerful direction of Maine filmmaker Sharyn Paul Brusie. Jenn was a gentle soul with a deep love of nature, a love which she captured beautifully in her photography and her 'Jenngie' greeting cards.
Jennifer was born to Claudia Hughes and Donald Gerow on Oct. 8, 1969.
She is survived by her mother, father; brother Mark and family; stepfather David LaGraffe; aunt Ellis Hughes, and uncle Peter Kent; stepmother, Suzanne Roy; stepsister Carrie and family, stepbrother Jason and family; and her best friend, Nancy Littlefield.

1/22/22. I watched the lovely, poignant documentary "Doves & Dolphins" on this sunny cold winter afternoon. It´s 8+ years since she ventured on. Well done Jenn and all.

While cleaning house for a move, I found an old picture of Jennifer I took in the 80s while she was visiting her cousin in Albany. I thought she might get a kick out of it so I set out to find her on social media. So sad to have found out she is no longer with us. :(

Jenn was one of my very first childhood friends. I remember playing at both her house and my own very well. I lost touch with Jenn for very many years, and was reconnected with her via Facebook...I am very thankful that social media allowed us to become reacquainted. RIP, Jenn, you will be missed by so very many people, myself included.
