Although we never had the opportunity to meet Jon, we extend our deepest sympathy to his family. We have heard so many stories about what a wonderful man he was. His courageous battle is over. We hope that this will bring peace to all who knew him. Brenda, you and Duke, and your entire family are in our thoughts.

I will never forget Jon as we were growing up. I went to my cousin Sylvia's house and we would go to Jon's grandfathers to buy milk. Jon would be there and we would go out in the barn to pick up the milk. I never forgot one day we tried to catch a little white owl, we never did suceed. In my 31 years with New Gloucester Fire/Rescue I have had many occassions to work with Jon. It was always a pleasure. My thoughts go out to you Jane and the rest of your family. You take care of yourself and God Bless all of you..
