Judith Heath Obituary

Judith Norene Heath, 68
GRAY - Judith Norene Heath, 68, died peacefully on Monday, July 16, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Judi was born on Sept. 13, 1949, to James and Nora McAfee.
She grew up in the town of Gray, where she met Steven Heath, the only man she ever had eyes for, and they became high school sweethearts. In 1968, they were happily married and stayed that way for the past 50 years.
For the last four years, Judi has faithfully and courageously fought a terrible battle with cancer. The help and care of all the doctors and nurses along the way will never go unforgotten. Through all of this, Judi never missed an opportunity to be with her greatest passions, her kids and her six grand-babies. Swimming in the pool, cousin sleep overs, or simply being close to them was all she needed. The love that "Grammy" had in her heart was so powerful, that it was no surprise she had so many people with her through her final days.
Judi leaves behind her loving husband of 50 years, Steven Heath. Her son, Eric and wife, Jess, their two sons, Aiden and Blake. Her daughter, Kristin and husband, Tyson, their four kids, Noah, Bailey, Kolby, and Mason Butts. Also, two wonderful brothers, Jimmy and Mac McAfee, along with their wives, Linda and Ellen.
Judi was predeceased by her brother, Michael; father, James and mother, Nora. Visiting hours will be Sunday July 22 from 2:30-4 p.m., followed immediately by a memorial service at the Bible Believing Baptist Church, 92 Center Road, Gray.

Steve and family, Many thoughts and prayers are with you this sad day. Judy was a lovely lady. So sad to hear of her passing. May all the thoughts and remembrances of past events bring smiles. Never forget!

July 18, 2018

Dear Steve and family: I am deeply saddened to learn of Judi's passing. So sorry to tell you that I was unaware that she was seriously ill. I understand your loss and deep pain as I lost the love of my life, my Miyoko, to Cancer on Dec. 6, 2013. We too were together almost 50-yrs. Although we were not very close for many years, I always and cherished our lovely and beloved Judi. May she now be at eternal peace with her Mom, Dad, Michael, Nanna, Miyoko, and the many others that she loved and who loved her. Be strong Steve and continue to honor her through your children and grandchildren. She will never be forgotten. With love and best wishes, Cousin Carl McAfee.

Judi was a beautiful soul and a true hero in every way. She will always be a guide for strength in my world. She fought this horrible disease with grace and dignity. I can not express enough love for all that she was and gave to her family and this world. She was an inspiration. I am proud to have been a witness to her unconditional love and true family values. I will sorely miss her, I love you Judi and will do my best to continue making Noah, Bailey, Kolby and mason feel your love for them and to keep your memory alive. Many hugs and prays for all who you have left behind trying to make sense of this senseless disease. Love Jeannie
