MacDonald Family, our friend is gone but her memory will forever burn strong in our heart. Leah taught me a lot about living, laughing and loving even in the darkest of times. I love and miss her.

Dear MacDonakd Children, Having worked with your mom for a number of years, she was one of my closest and dearest friends. Over the years we shared many laughs, memories and stories of our families. There is no one who was more proud of her family than Leah. I am in Ireland and unable to attend the mass which is a good thing, as Leah always told me the roof of the church will collapse should I re-enter it. Gotta love the memories that I will cherish in my heart forever because of your mom. God bless you all and remain strong and keep smiling and laughing when you think of mom. She would love it . As I write this note, I still hear her laughter. She was a strong incredible and very special woman. I will miss her dearly but have all the wonderful memories of the friendship we shared. Peace be with you all. XOXO

Was saddened to hear of the passing of your Mother. A very kind and thoughtful person to everyone. Know she suffers no more and is with her beloved Savior.

I worked with Leah during several administrations and found her to be of the "old school"; always helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I'm sure she will be sadly missed by all. I was sorry to learn of her passing. Mary Hall

Leah was one of my best friends, and I will miss her so much. Her vibrant personality and love of life remained with her throughout her final battle with cancer. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
