Patricia Allen Obituary
1947 - 2018
CUMBERLAND - Patricia Ann (Benoit) Allen, 71, of Cumberland, passed away suddenly at her home in Cumberland, with her husband at her side, on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018. She was born on Oct. 11, 1947, in Lewiston, to the late Richard L. Benoit and Dolores M. Pratt.
She graduated from Lewiston High School in 1967 and Bernard's School of Hair Fashion in 1968. Later she opened her own business LaMode Beauty Shoppe in Lewiston and later moved to Lisbon. She married on Aug. 6, 1994, Dennis Robert Allen, closed her Shoppe to assist him with running Allen's Country Store. Pat enjoyed spending time with her dog "Blackie," she loved her "fur babies," she adopted many lost puppies over the years. She liked crafting her own items, painting, knitting, cooking and baking. She and Dennis would love to go camping with a street rod and fifth wheel camper, they would yearly travel to Louden, N.H., for the NASCAR races. Together they would play cribbage for hours every evening.
She was predeceased by her parents; and her sister, Constance A. Benoit Bouchard. She is survived by her husband, Dennis; her sister, Claire Benoit Vermette and husband, Stephen; her niece, Michelle D. Bouchard and husband, Shawn Higgs and their children, Jericho, Olivia and Jacob.
Services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018, at Wilson Funeral Home from 4-7 p.m. A spring interment will be held in the Methodist Cemetery in West Cumberland.

There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of picking up the phone and calling you about everything going on with me. I miss our phone calls very much! I miss you just as much today as I did the day you left us! I think about calling you all the time. I know that I can't but just wish that I could! I love you and miss you so much Pat! My favorite memories of Aunt Patsy will always be her doing my hair when I was a kid . Her great sense of humor and just talking with her about life.She was a wonderful Aunt to me and will be greatly missed.

Pat was my very dearest friend and will be missed by me terribly! She was an amazing woman and I loved her very much! She was beautiful inside and out. I just can't believe she is gone. This is a huge loss for me and Dennis, I know just what you are going through! I've been in your shoes and if there is anything I can do for you, just ask! I love you and I am so very sorry for your immense loss. I know that you adored her and she you! I love you and hope to see you on Thursday if I can get a ride. Prayers for all of her family too!
