Oh My Dear Brother-In-Law,

It is so hard to believe that you are no longer with us in body, but will remain with us forever in spirit, soul and fond memories. Although, I didn't get to spend as much time with you and your family, having been the last to marry into the family of the East Coast White's, I feel fortunate that you welcomed me with open arms when you all made that trip to California in October of 1998. Now, we all know Dickie and his antics. My first memory of Dickie was that he had his own way of welcoming me into the family. When we were at the alter taking the family picture after the wedding, Dear Dickie gave me a pinch you all know where that would have been no need to put it in print. Then in true style he blamed it on brother Bill. That and many other memories will be cherished for a life-time.

Bobbie, I truly wished the boys and I could have made the trip with Andy to be there with you, your boys and the rest of the family. But, you were in my thoughts and prayers and will continue to be.

Bless you Dear Dickie, until we all meet again in Heaven for another White Family Gathering.

Lots of Love,

Joan BRYCE

Dear Mrs. White & family,

I was at my office today talking to the new (and very young) Batesville Casket rep, my first visit with her. It was when I started to reminisce about my early years in funeral business and having known Dick that I found out about his passing away. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy during what must be a very difficult time for you. It has been about 25 years since I last saw Dick. Dick was a really great guy, had a great sense of humor. He has been taken away from us much too early.

Sincerely yours,

Robert L. Bouchard

I was so disturbed to hear of Dick's passing. He always had a smile and a special "HELLO". He was fun at work, fun at play and just fun at life. Everyone he came in contact with will miss seeing his smile coming their way. His jokes and Maine humor were priceless. My prayers and thoughts are with his family and friends.

To the White Family,

Some people come and go during your lifetime....but only a choice few stay in your heart forever. Whitey, you were like a ray of sunshine and left me with many memories I treasure to this day...from the first time Lash introduced me to you during the 1986 Super Bowl party at Purpoodock or the canoe trip down the Saco River with the Rebels among others. Thank you for the fond memories. Bobbie and family, my thoughts and prayers are with you always.
