Roger Long Obituary

Schenectady, NY – Roger William Long, 50, of Schenectady, NY, formerly of Robin House in Delanson, NY, died Sunday June 7, 2009. He was born on November 11, 1958 in Brooklyn, NY a son of Betty Joan (Cross) and John Patrick Long, Jr. and lived in West Esposus, NY.
Roger had a special interest in birds and took great pleasure in seeing them fly to the feeders, eat and fly away.
Roger is survived by his mother, Betty J. Long of Cumberland Foreside; his brother, John P. Long, III of Cumberland Foreside; his two nieces: Barbara J. Long and Kimberly M. Long; his two nephews: Edward Long and John P. Long, IV and his great-nephews: Tyler Leauhring and Aston E. Long. He was predeceased by his father, John P. Long, Jr.
There will be an 11:00 AM Graveside Service on Monday June 29, 2009 at Riverside Cemetery in Yarmouth with Fr. Joseph Ford officiating.
