Steven Griffin Obituary

Steven C. Griffin, 58 SACO -- Steven C. Griffin, 58, of Pine Haven Street, Saco, died unexpectedly Monday, June 2, 2008, at Southern Maine Medical Center. He was born in Syracuse, N.Y., the son of Steven and Florence Lakins Griffin. He worked at the W.H. Shurtleff / Monson Co. for 29 years. He was a member of the Teamsters Union, enjoyed fishing with co-workers, old movies, wrestling and being home with his family. He is survived by his mother Florence of Saco; his wife Joanne Casewell Griffin of Saco; and three brothers, Bernard of Iowa, and John and Donald, both of Syracuse, N.Y. Services will be private. Arrangements are by Blais & Hay Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to: The American Heart Association 51 U.S. Route 1 Suite M Scarborough, Maine 04074 or to The Westbrook Animal Refuge League P.O. Box 336 Westbrook, Maine 04092
