Tenner (Mower) Webster
PORTLAND -- Tenner (Mower) Webster passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, Aug. 23, 2010.
Tenner was a loving mother, wife, daughter and friend to many. She was the loving wife and soulmate of husband Marc Webster of Munjoy Hill in Portland.
Tenner attended Waterville and Portland schools and was proud to be a PHS Bulldog. After high school, Tenner joined the Navy where she served as a gunnersmate on the USS Germantown and the USS Harpers Ferry and saw the world. She met people from all walks of life and touched everyone in a special way. Tenner returned from the Navy a confident young woman ready to take on life. She worked as a CNA and at Maine Medical Center.
She re-enlisted in the Army in February of 2007 and trained at Rosewell, N.M., White Sands Missile Range, N.M., and Red Stone Arsenal in Alabama. Tenner was stationed at Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, Ga., and deployed to Iraq in November 2007 where she served as an ammunition specialist.
Upon returning from an 18 month tour in Iraq, she and her family re-located to Ft. Drum, N.Y. She was well respected by all her soldiers peers. Whenever advice was needed, she was the go to person and nurtured the careers of many of her soldiers while stationed at Hunter Airfield and Ft. Drum. I'm sure if you asked the soldiers she served with who they would want watching their back, her name would be at the top of the list.
Her smile lit up the room and no one could ever forget those dimples.
Tenner enjoyed camping with her husband and also enjoyed fashion. Her friends and family were everything to her and a contributing factor in her decision to put her military career on hold. She was an outspoken woman who knew what she

wanted in life and was determined to get it; and she did.
Tenzin Audrey Webster, her daughter, was born on Jan. 18, 2010, while she was stationed at Ft. Drum, N.Y. She was a natural mother and was able to build an unbreakable bond in the short time she and Tenzin had together. Tenzin is a gift for all who knew Tenner to cherish.
Tenner was full of life and had many plans and goals to accomplish, but raising her daughter was her number one priority. Her mother and father were her rocks. She was daddies girl and her father meant the world to her. She was a loyal friend and soldier who will be sadly missed by many. 'What had happened was...'
Tenner is survived by her husband, Marc Webster; daughter, Tenzin Webster; her mother, Karen Vigue of Waterville, father Clyde (Tad) Mower Jr. of Winslow; paternal grandparents, Jacqueline Pellerin of Vassalboro and Clyde Mower Sr. of Pittsfield, her maternal grandparents, Theresa Liberty (who passed away in 1996) and Gerald Vigue of Waterville; her sister, Angie MacLean and husband Travis of Gray, her brother, Michael (Mikey) McIntyre of Waterville, her brother, Chad Mower of Virginia; Grunkle Danny, Chris Webster, Keith Webster and Judy (Nanna) Webster, all of Portland; her goddaughter, Dybelize Santana; and her sfam, Kristin Beeler of South Portland.
To all who knew her as Auntie, you now have a guardian angel. To anyone left out, 'sorry' and 'whatevah' and 'let me find out you're in heaven' and don't forget we're all looking at the same moon.
A memorial service including full military honors will be held on Saturday, Aug. 28, at 1 p.m., at the Forest J. Pare VFW Post on Water Street in Waterville. Arrangements were made with Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville.
