Vera Farr Obituary
WESTBROOK - Vera M. Farr, 89, formerly of Halidon Rd, Westbrook, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at Seaside Nursing Home in Portland.
She was born in Czechoslovakia, the daughter of Richard and Georgianna Lauber. Vera met her husband Arthur while he was serving in the military and they moved to Westbrook in 1946.
Vera was a private person and enjoyed feeding all the wild animals around her yard.
She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur; and a son, Theodore. She is survived by her son Robert (Ray) Farr and his wife Sharon, daughter-in-law Doreen Farr; grandchildren Robert Jr, Daniel, and Kristine Farr; great-grandchildren Hannah, Travis, Nicholas, Natalie, and Madelyn.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date. On line condolences may be expressed at blaisandhayfuneralhome.com.

You may not remember me but I remember you.
You sang the Lord's Prayer when I was a in grammar school.
You children should know this as you did a remarkable job.
While in the jungles of Vietnam nam I said the Lord's Prayer many times.
I even sang it to myself but it was not like your rendition.
It worked, I made it home.
