Alice lit up the room when she was able to attend Bookmarks. I was always happy to see her and her smile, which lit up the room. She is in Heaven now, and I am grateful for her sharing the Love of Christ.

I was so very saddened to hear of the passing of my dear, dear friend, Alice. We met back in the early 1980's in Mt. Lebanon, PA where we had both recently moved. Our friendship and that of our families grew stronger through the years, especially as we began to have our children. As my daughter, Kate, grew older, she and Alice had a very special bond and much in common. They often teased me that they needed to educate me on the real world!
Alice and I shared a lot of common interests, including reading. One day when we were on the phone she asked me what I was reading and I said one of the "Left Behind" series by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins. She asked if she could borrow it and then shortly thereafter she called me to share with me that she had accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior. She also mentioned that her Mom had prayed for her for years to do that. I know beyond a doubt that I will one day be reunited with Alice, her Mom, my husband, my Dad and so many others that have gone before. What blessed assurance!
Until that day, my dear friend, I will miss you!

I, our family, and one of Travis's best friends met Alice shortly after they moved onto Boxfield right before Travis and JT went off to kindergarten. Our boys grew up together and remain good friends to this day and often were back and forth between homes during their school years. They and we have the best memories of those days and fun gatherings full of wonderful food, Alice loved to host all of us, and always laughter and love. Family was always first to all of us and she has left a great legacy in her men to cherish her memory. Rest in peace my friend. Will cherish our memories.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Alice she was a neighbor of mine growing up. I was in her Girl Scout group with her mother heading it out. She was a wonderful wonderful girl as her mother was.
I lost contact with Alice, but she had always been in my thoughts. Every time I would drive past the house, she grew up in.
My best to the family
