Alice Pitt was my mother's best friend at the quadrangle.
A.Pitt and my mother, Helen Nemir were best bridge partners.
I remember my mother saying that she and A. Pitt would get up very early to help at the registration desk for the Dragon Boat Races every year for several years.
After my mother passed away in 2009 I went to visit A. Pitt several times. She always talked about her family and grandchildren. It was evident that she loved her family and shared so many fond memories of her husband.
I will miss visiting A. Pitt at the quad. She was a good friend to my mother, Helen Nemir and a good friend of mine, Helen's daughter, Ginger.
