Warm regards to family and friends! Still to this day remember my classes with Dr. And Mrs. Manser. One of the things that makes me smile is remembering how one time she asked me in front of the class if I was still going to go by Jeannie, instead of Jean when I was 96 and why? I loved her smile and remember little things about her class and how she never treated anyone "differently". Such a tremendous loss.

Mrs. Manser was one of my favorite teachers at UMHS. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family on their loss. Due in part to her influence, I became an English teacher - for 36 years. Loved you, Carol!

To Carol Manser's loving family, I am so sorry for your loss. Your wife/mother/grandmother was a beautiful human being who sparkled in the classroom. She had the rare ability through humor and sincerity to capture the attention of all who were lucky enough to be assigned to her class. A truly brilliant teacher who I tried to stay in touch with sporadically over the years. My prayers for her family who must miss her terribly.

Mrs. Manser was such a gifted theme reader when I was in high school. She made us all better writers, and was so kind and patient.
