What a terrible loss… I'm so sorry to hear the news. He was one of the kindest, funniest and smartest. An amazing person on all side, the best boss and mentor I've had. Dan, you'll be missed a lot.

Mr. Hutch... What a guy. I am so sorry to hear this news. I just learned of his passing today. Clearly a devoted father whose main focus was doing what was best for his children. I had the pleasure of coaching his son Alexander with the NYC Cyclones, and I can truly say his personality reflected the values his father instilled in him as well as his funny and caring personality. You will be missed, rest in peace.

Olivia,
I'm so sorry to have just learned of Dan's passing through Harvard Magazine. What a shocking loss. I will always remember Hutch as one of the sweetest, funniest, most upstanding guys I've ever known. He was a treasure, and I'm so deeply sorry for your loss, and for your kids'. I am quite sure that he has left a wonderful legacy in them. I wish you and your family peace in this painful time.

Dan was a super guy. One of those guys that even the upperclassmen at Haverford looked up to.

Dan was very much liked by the Westchester Wild U16 girls travel hockey team in Westchester, NY. His daughter Charlotte played with my daughter Madison and was a big presence for us. He always had a kind word and a smile on his face. I truly enjoyed seeing him around the rink. He will be missed by our family.
Sending our condolences,
