Roberta McKaig Doan

Doan, Roberta McKaig, "Robin", 76, of Ardmore died Sat. Aug. 9, 2014. She was born on Oct. 25, 1937 to the late Robert Richard McKaig and the late Mathilde van Lennep. She attended Syracuse University. She was an avid painter and was involved with the Main Line Art Center and the Delaware Valley Art League. She served a number of administrative positions at Haverford College. She is survived by her spouse Rev. Dr. Gilbert Everett Doan, Jr., her sons Robert Daniel McAlaine (Stephanie) and Michael Brady McAlaine, and her grandchildren Kaleigh, Sarah, Caroline Teal, Liam, Aidan, and Connor. Services will be held 11:00 AM Sat. Sept. 13, 2014 at All Saints Church, 1325 Montgomery Ave., Wynnewood, PA 19096. In lieu of flowers donations in her name may be made to Main Line Art Center, 746 Panmure Rd, Haverford, PA 19041 or All Saints Church.
