Bob McKee Obituary

Bob McKee, 80, of Branson, Missouri passed away on September 8th, 2016 after a short illness. He was surrounded by family and friends who treasured his selfless love for God and all people. Bob was born June 28th, 1936 to Ralph and Louise McKee, along with a brother Leon McKee. After completing school he created many successful businesses and enjoyed buying, restoring and selling classic cars. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Craig Chancellor and son-in-law, Jim Jameson.
In 1975, he married Linda McKee in Malvern, Arkansas. Along with their children Mike McKee, Marla Jameson, Craig Chancellor and Susan Smith, Bob could often be found outdoors hunting, fishing, and spending time with loved ones. After moving to Branson in 2009, Bob continued his dedication to the Lord by serving others, both at Hopedale Baptist Church and Jesus Was Homeless. Because of his compassion towards others, many people look to Bob as a father figure and true example of a Christ follower. With a heart for serving others, Bob was committed to lending a helping hand, an attentive ear or a shoulder to lean on. His giant smile and warm heart were felt by all. Regardless of who they were, or where they came from, he made everyone feel special and chose to love them unconditionally.
Survivors, wife, Linda Sue McKee; children, Mike McKee (Tamra), Marla Jameson and Susan Smith; grandchildren, Jim Bob Jameson (Leslie), Ambrus Presley (John), John Jameson, Allison Englert (Stephen), Michael McKee (Erin) and Grant McKee; great-grandchildren, Henry Presley, Matthew McKee, Saddie Jameson and Hank Presley; brother, Leon McKee; sister-in-law, Sandra Price and nieces and nephews, Emily Reich, Michelle McKee, John McKee, Katie Phillips, Beth Snow and Bradley Barnes.

What Jack Nicklaus is to golf, Babe Ruth is to baseball and Roger Staubach is to football, Bob Mckee is to the game of life. He played full out and gave it his all. His love and compassion are legendary.

Linda, Susan and family, may God's love surround and hold you during this time.
Mr. Bob was always a kind soul and a pleasure to talk to. Mom said he always hugged her when she saw him. She called me to let me know of his passing.

When I think Bob I think Christ Like. When I think Bob I think love. When I think family I think Bob. Bob was the most loving non judgemental person I ever met. He made me feel equal and forgiven. I will miss you Bob and I love you. Until we meet again. Anthony massimiano.
