Bobby Lee Lemons

1936 - 2023

Bobby Lee Lemons, age 87, of Leola, AR, passed away December 10, 2023. Bobby was born on March 15, 1936, in Donaldson, AR, the son of Charlie and Rosie Johnson Lemons. He was a member of Brush Creek Missionary Baptist Church and was also a founding member of the DGL Hunting Club. He served as a Baptist Minister of two different churches throughout his life. Bobby also worked for International Paper Co., CME Division. He enjoyed woodworking.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Homer, Lloyd and Henry Lemons, AJ Cordell, Otis Lemons, Geneva Jewell, JC Lemons, Murl Matthews, Betty Neagle, and Austin Lemons; and son, Darrell Lemons.
Left to cherish his memory, beloved wife of 68 years, Onita Gifford Lemons; sons, Troy Lemons (Donna Kay) of Texarkana, TX, David Lemons (Karen)of Malvern; daughters, Yvonne Fuell (Joe) of Prattsville, AR, Donna Linn Hardin (Ronnie) of Donaldson; daughter in-law, Donna Sue Lemons of Grapevine, AR; fifteen grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 12th from 6-8pm at Regency Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, Dec. 13th at 2pm, at Brush Creek Missionary Baptist Church, with Brothers Ron Parish, Johnny Brewster, and Derrell Harris. officiating. Burial to follow at Brush Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers are grandsons: Jared Hardin, Joe Fuell Jr., Valik, Roman, Nikita, Connor, Ivan, Tristan, and Collin Lemons.
Honorary pallbearers are his great-grandsons.
