Charles Peden Obituary

Charles L. "Chuck" Peden, age 56 of Malvern, died Monday, November 29, 2021 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born on May 17, 1965 in Rugby, North Dakota to Cheryl Gagner Peden and the late Dale Peden. Reared and educated in Omaha, Nebraska, he had been a resident of Malvern for four years. Chuck had worked as a nursing assistant, but was really an entrepreneur. He had a keen eye for value, and bought and sold items on ebay and other computer sites, enjoying the back and forth of the bidding process and making a profit. Chuck was Catholic.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Cheryl and Richard Comfort of Malvern; a son, Seth Charles Peden of Omaha, Nebraska; a daughter, Holly Rose Peden, and a step-daughter, Alyssa Fezio, both of Ft. Worth, Texas; two brothers, Michael Peden of Malvern, and Terry and his wife, Angie Peden of Saginaw, Texas; and by a granddaughter, Alice Beth.
A rosary will be recited at J. A. Funk Funeral Home on Thursday evening, December 2, 2021, at six o'clock. The funeral mass will be on Friday morning, December 3, 2021 at ten o'clock at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Father Samy as celebrant. Interment will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
