Martha Highsmith Obituary

Martha Highsmith, age 83 of Malvern, passed away Sunday November 19, 2017, at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock. She was born in Sheridan, Arkansas November 15, 1934 the daughter of Wilton and Zora Faye Arnold Steele. She was loan secretary in the banking industry until retirement, and was a member of First Baptist Church where she attended the Ruth Sunday School Class.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Thomas Edward Highsmith, and grandson, Michael Wagnon.
Survivors are her sons, Bill Highsmith (Sherry) of Prattsville, Thomas W. (Buddy) Highsmith (Martha) of Haskell, daughter, Vivian Highsmith (Bill Wagnon) of Magnet Cove, sister, Vivian Steele of Magnet Cove, grandchildren, Martie Ryland of Magnet Cove and Kyleigh Lindsey of Traskwood, great-grandchildren Sawyer Lindsey and Glyn Ryland and faithful little dog and companion, Todd and numerous cousins.
There will not be a formal visitation.
Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday November 21, 2017 at the Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan.
