Mr. David R. Durr

Mr. David R. Durr, 69, passed from this life to his eternal home on November 26, 2015. He was a member at First Baptist Church in Manchester. Mr. Durr was the son of the late Earl Russel Durr and Clara McCabe Durr. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Oswald Durr and Lawrence Durr, and one sister, Elizabeth Wix Cowan. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Phyllis; two sons, Philip and Dominic (Christina) Durr; three grandsons, Dylan, Houston, and Greyson Durr; and two great-grandsons, Aaron and Aden Durr. He is survived by two sisters, Marion Dilley of Leesburg, Fla. and Florence Kerbyson of Cape Coral, Fla. He will be sadly missed by family and friends. Mr. Durr had donated his body to science and was transported to Vanderbilt. There is no funeral or memorial service planned at this time.
