Mr Anderson was a wonderful man. He used to drive from East Lake to Lincoln School and open up the gymnasium/basketball court for the neighborhood kids at night & on weekends. I cannot say enough about how good/nice a man he was.

Mr. Anderson welcomed me to Lincoln School when I switched from St. Joseph in 5th grade. He was a great man.

Mel. Anderson was the teacher I ever had. Even as the past when I would meet him, he always remember my name and my sisters name. He was a great man and he´ll always be remembered for his kindness and thoughtfulness.

I went to Lincoln School in the late 50´s early 60´s! He was so nice, very understanding. One of the nicest teachers I ever had. My condolences to his family.

Dearest Anderson family, So sad to learn of "Uncle Al" passing- our sincere condolences to Sue, Jack and all the family. What a wonderful life legacy. We cherish all the experiences we shared! The many family reunions and -for me as a young man- hunting with my grandfather Everett- then later with my new bride Judy winter camping at the shanty- fond memories indeed! May Jesus guide us all- God Bless. Craig and Judy Engwall
