Craig Krusniak Obituary

Craig Krusniak
Greenville Michigan
May 4, 2025
Craig A. Krusniak, age 64, died Sunday, May 4, 2025 at his longtime Greenville home. He was born November 8, 1960 in Manistee, the son of Adolph and Gladys (Majewski) Krusniak). Craig was an incredible husband and father, and had a tremendous impact on many people. He loved his family and his Catholic faith, was a longtime member of St. Charles Catholic Church, and was a Third Degree Knight of Columbus. Craig had many loves: playing golf, meticulously tending to his yard on his John Deere, sitting by a bonfire, mornings in his recliner with a cup of Michigan cherry coffee, sipping a glass of good bourbon, and eating good food with family and friends were just some of them. He had a fabulous singing voice, was a true animal whisperer who was beloved by all animals (especially Max and Missy), loved to coach and watch his sons in their athletic pursuits, loved Manistee, the beach, and Big Al's, and loved the Michigan Wolverines. Go Blue! Craig is survived by his best friend and the love of his life, his wife of 36 years, Barbara (Grzegorski) Krusniak; sons, Adam (Kali) Krusniak, Christopher (Amber) Krusniak, and Gregory (Kassie) Krusniak; sisters, Jean (John) St. Germain and Christine (Don) Wagberg; brother, Bill (Michelle) Krusniak; sister-in-law, Kathy (Kevin) Johnson; brother-in-law, Phil Grzegorski; and several nieces and nephews. The Memorial Mass for Craig will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2025 at St. Charles Catholic Church, Rev. James Wyse presiding. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hurst Funeral Home, where the Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m., and Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at church prior to Mass. Private interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Grand Rapids. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Charles Catholic Church. Hurst Funeral Home is serving the Krusniak family, and memories of Craig and messages of condolence for his family may be shared at www.hurstfh.com.
