Gloria A. Gielczyk, age 89 of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.
A memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids at a later date.
Gloria was born on January 19, 1936 in Manistee, Mich., to the late Rylence and Mildred (Magnuson) Lorenz. She married Ronald Gielczyk in June of 1958. Gloria was a home maker and took pride in raising her family. In her spare time she was a member of a bridge club with her friends. Gloria loved travelling. She spent winters in Phoenix, Ariz., with her husband, and enjoyed all the friends they made throughout the years. She also enjoyed spending summers and vacations at the lake in Manistee, Mich., with her family.
Gloria is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Victor) Phelps, and Joy (Jeffery) Durski; cousin, Joy Ott; and many in-laws.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Gielczyk; parents; brother, David Lorenz; and cousin, Judy Kronlein.
Gloria's family would like to thank the entire staff at The Renaissance Assisted Living for their kindness and care of Gloria throughout her years there.
