Jerry A. Wilson, 81, was born on January 12, 1944, in Ludington, Michigan, and passed away on September 23, 2025, at his home. He was the son of Frank A. Wilson and Edith C. (Minster) Wilison. Jerry graduated from Ludington High School, Class of 1962.
He married Bonnie (Andresen) Bradford in Manistee, in July of 1979.
Before and after graduation, he worked in the grocery business. He also delivered beer and wine for many years. Later, he worked for Shell Oil Company for twenty-eight years, until his retirement.
Jerry enjoyed bowling, golf, collecting beer mugs, watching football, playing pool on leagues, and for twenty years, playing pool with his good friends on Wednesdays.
He was a member of the Onekama Lions Club for thirty-eight years, two years as king lion, two years as zone chairman, and ten years he spearheaded Vegas night on Onekama days. He was nominated for Lion of the Year twice, and was very proud to be a Lion.
He is survived by: his wife of forty-seven years, Bonnie Wilson; brother, Tom Wilson; sister-in-law, Maria Dora Wilson; son, Andy Bradford; daughter, Lisa Carter and Karl Murphy; five grandchildren, Rob Carter, Ryan (Ashley) Carter, Andrew Bradford, Amber Bradford, and Amy Kmiecik; four great-grandchildren, Harrison and Miles Carter and Ellie Murdie and Livi Kmiecik; special nephew, Tommy (Lori) Wilson; special niece, Tabitha Wilson Pardo (Tracy); and many great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; and his son, Aaron Bradford.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Terwilliger Funeral Home, in Kaleva. Family will receive friends from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Friday, October 3, 2025, at the funeral home.
