Joan K. Randall, 80, of Bear Lake, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 12, 1944, she was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Though she lost the love of her life, DeVere Randall, in 2018, his memory remained a cherished part of her heart and her unwavering love for him continued to shine brightly throughout the years. We take comfort in knowing they've been reunited.
Joan was known for her vibrant spirit and her love for flowers and gardening. She brought a smile to everyone around her with her "woo hoo's" and fancy two step. Her friends and family were the center of her world. She cherished every moment spent with them.
In her later years, she bravely faced the challenges of dementia with grace and courage. Despite her illness, her love for life never faded.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff (Sandra) Randall of Bear Lake, JoDee Randall of Grand Rapids, Jamie Randall of Traverse City, and Joey (Kris) Randall of Bear Lake; her grandchildren, Mandy Randall, Jeremey (Jen) Randall, JJ (Lexi) Randall, Emily (Jack) Randall, Kaydee (Megan) Swanson, Tyler (Brittany) Swanson, SaDee Bromley, and Logan (Trevor) Miller; and sister, Denise McCormick.
Joan was preceded in death by: her husband, Dee Randall and her son, Michael Randall.
A celebration of life for Joan will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
The Terwilliger Funeral Home, in Kaleva, is in charge of arrangements.
