Levi M. Johnson, 29 of Manistee, MI passed away unexpectedly at his home on August 26, 2020.
Levi was born on June 7, 1991 in Ludington, MI to Sharon (Smith) and Michael Johnson. He graduated from Manistee High School with the class of 2009. He married Heather Hansen on October 21, 2017 at the historic Vogue Theater. Levi was employed by Crews Chemical and Big Al's Pizza.
Levi enjoyed playing video games, going to concerts, building and painting model cars, building his pop vinyl collection, hanging out with his friends, collecting comic books and was an avid reader. He was a fan of Pokémon and Star Wars. Family was very important to Levi and he was looking forward to the birth of his first child (a girl) in December.
Levi will be greatly missed and is survived by his wife, Heather (Hansen) Johnson of Manistee, his parents, Sharon (Dave) Anderson of Manistee and Michael Johnson of Ludington, his grandfather Gary Johnson of Kansas, his sister Jade (Rickie) Booth, niece Aubrey Anderson, nephews RJ and Nichols Booth of Manistee, brother-in-law Logan Hansen of Chicago, nephew Oliver Hansen of Grand Haven, Ryan Hansen and his fiancé Maddy Miller and nephew Parker Hansen of Manistee, and Nicholas Hansen of Manistee, Mother and Father-in-law Barbara and Kenneth Hansen of Manistee. Uncle Bryan (Sara) Johnson and Aunt Wendy Johnson, Special Aunt and Uncle Kim and Tim Olson of Grawn, close friends Tony Zuchowski, Kyle Janicki and Jesse Williams, who he referred to as his brothers and two special fur babies, Bart and Sassafras. Numerous cousins also survive him.
Levi was preceded in death by his grandparents Clarence and Darlene Smith and Sandra Johnson.
Due to restrictions with the COVID-19 pandemic, masks are required. Visitation will take place on Friday, September 4, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Herbert Funeral Home in Manistee. In lieu of flowers, donations to assist with final expenses and a fund to support his expected daughter would be greatly appreciated.
The Herbert Funeral Home of Manistee is in charge of funeral arrangements.
