Lois Schultz Obituary

Lois Marie Schultz
Manistee, Michigan
08/30/1934 - 10/29/2024
Lois Marie Schultz, age 90 of Manistee, passed away at home on Tuesday October 29, 2024.
Lois married the love of her life, Robert E. Schultz, in May of 1955 and together they were blessed with 66 years until Robert's passing in 2021.
Lois was a very proud member of Manistee High School, Class of 1952, and a faithful member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher and Choir member.
Family was very important, and unforgettable memories were made with daughters and sons-in-law Cindy & Chris Sobaski and Linda & Rick Hankins, grandson Sean Sobaski and girlfriend Josie, grandchildren Casen, Aubree, Ethan, and Bree, and many "fur babies" over the years.
Lois is also survived by nieces Susan (Mark) Milliman, Sharon (Chris) Zalba, Dixie (Greg) Wilkins, and Denice (Rick) Seaman; nephew David Englund; and the friends they considered family.
In addition to Robert, she was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Elsie (Zimmerman) Petersen, a sister and brother-in-law Joyce & Don Englund, two brothers and sisters-in-law Bob & Carol Petersen and Dave & Darlene Petersen; niece Debra Reed; niece and husband Dyana & Earl Parsons; and two nephews Roger Englund and David Petersen Jr.
Services for Lois will be held on Friday November 1, 2024, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 521 Cypress Street, Manistee, with visitation at 10:00 AM and the funeral service at 11:00 AM. There will be a meal and time of fellowship following.
