Michael Dean "Moe" Madsen, age 74 of East Lake, Michigan died at his home on Saturday, September 20, 2025.
He was born on July 20, 1951 in Manistee, the son of the late Clayton and Mabel (Forward) Madsen. He was a 1972 graduate of Manistee High School.
"Moe" had been employed as a fork lift operator at Martin Marietta. He enjoyed fixing small engines, hunting, fishing, riding his Harley Davidson, and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and James Franklin; son, William Madsen; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Mary Madsen; sister, Vicki Nass; and grandchildren, Taylor and Hannah Belohlavy, Nathan Belohlavy, Dean Madsen, and Rose Madsen,
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Keith Nass.
No service is planned at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

We will miss Mike in our cousin group. He and I kept in touch a little on Facebook. I had many weeks of summer with the Madsens when I was a child. My sympathies to his children and grandchildren. Please let me know when you have the celebration of life.
