BELLEVILLE -- Patricia Ann (Jankowski) Kalasz, 75, of Belleville, Mich., passed away in her home on Saturday, Nov. 4th 2017
Patricia was born in Manistee, Mich., on Sept. 7, 1942, to Walter and Mabel Jankowski.
Patricia is preceded in death by her first husband, Alfred Kalasz; and daughter, Devonne Kalasz. Her second husband, Harry Fordham passed away earlier this year.
She is survived by daughters Joyce Luna (Evaristo Luna), Stephanie Mull (Ted Mull), Michelle Beaudrie and Jennifer Kalasz. She is also survived by three siblings, Jim Jankowski, Ray Jankowski and Nancy Adamcyak. She was a beloved grandmother of 11 grandchildren and great-grandmother of eight great-grandchildren.
Patricia was known for her fiery spirit, her sharp wit and her big laugh. She took pride in her garden, her fantastic cooking, loved to crochet, watch the Detroit Red Wings, and her biggest delight, was her daughters she referred to always as her "girls" and her "world". Even in her final years, Pat was always there with a compliment or some much needed wisdom -- sometimes both if the occasion called for it.
She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched in her time with us.
There will be a service at noon on Friday, Nov. 10, 2017, followed by a reception at 1 p.m. at St. Stephen's Church in New Boston, Mich.

I still think of my cousin as "Patsy", which is what we called her as children. May she rest in peace, and may her family and friends find comfort in the warmth of memories.
