Amanda Nutter Obituary

Amanda N. Nutter

MANSFIELD: Amanda Nutter, age 36, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016 in her Mansfield home.

She was born December 14, 1979 to parents Jack & Vivian (Plank) Nutter in Mansfield and was a 1998 graduate of Ontario High School. Amanda was a dispatcher for the Lexington Police Department for 12 years and most recently worked for IBEW Electrical Union.

Above all, Amanda cherished her children. Everything she did was for her kids. Amanda loved cheering for her 16-year-old son Nik at his track meets and with 8-year-old Paradise she enjoyed doing mother-daughter manicures and pedicures.

Everyone loved Amanda; she had a quiet way about her and she was always there for her friends. She liked Coach purses and reading. Amanda preferred to keep everything spic and span—she had the gift of organization and tidiness. Her family and friends will dearly miss her helpful spirit.

Amanda attended Community Bible Church in Mansfield.

She is survived by her parents Jack & Deb Nutter of Mansfield; children Nik Nutter and Paradise Jeru both of Mansfield; siblings Andrew, Joe (Dana), Adam (Julie), Heather (Joel), and Megan (Jeff); paternal grandmother Juanita & Smokey Burriss of Mansfield; maternal grandparents Ed & Carolyn Maglott of Mansfield; her best friend Kristi Boggs of Mansfield; a special aunt Benji and her daughters Rachel & Vanessa of FL; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and countless friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother Vivian Nutter, infant sister Andrea Nutter, paternal grandfather Jack H. Nutter, and maternal grandparents Guy & Ruth Plank.

Her family will receive friends 12-3 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 2016 in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where a funeral service honoring her life will begin at 3 p.m. Pastor Ken Tucker will officiate and private burial will occur in Mansfield Cemetery the following week.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Amanda Nutter Memorial Fund and brought or sent to the funeral home: P.O. Box 3085, Mansfield, Ohio 44904. Donations will be saved to benefit her children's education.

Bernice, Andrew, Nikolas and Paradise,

I'm so sorry for your loss. Amanda was always such a nice person.

My mom always looked forward to her annual Christmas card to see how all of you were doing and watching the kids grow from year to year with the pictures she enclosed.

Much love to you all,
Anita (Williams)
