Arlin Elliott Obituary
MANSFIELD: Arlin J. Elliott, 62, of Mansfield, died Wednesday evening, November 11, 2015, at his home. He was born January 20, 1953, in Mansfield, Ohio, to Ovellon and Hazel (Justice) Elliott.
Arlin attended Mansfield Senior High School and was an area resident his entire life. He was the manager at Five Cousins on West Fourth St. for many years, then went on to Westinghouse Corp. His last job was as manager of Elliott Carryout on Newman St. In his spare time, Arlin enjoyed reading, football, and following NASCAR.
He is survived by a son, Joshua Elliott of Bellville; mother, Hazel Elliott of Mansfield; two brothers, Lowell (Jewell) Elliott of Grayson, KY and Glen Elliott of Mansfield; two sisters, Linda (Robert) Johnston and Fay Elliott Brinegar, both of Mansfield; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Larry Comer, Steve Yohman and Ora Brinegar, all of Mansfield. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister-in-law, Pat Elliott.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Monday, November 16, 2015, in the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. The funeral service conducted by Pastor Matthew Pond will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
