Donna Staninovski
MANSFIELD: Donna Staninovski, 81, of Mansfield, died Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at MedCentral Mansfield. Born February 18, 1930, in Selo Capari, Macedonia, she was the daughter of George and Cveta (Acevska) Sazdanoff. A homemaker, Donna came to the United States in 1958 and attended Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church. She enjoyed cooking and gardening but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Zivko Staninovski; two daughters, Mary (Kosta) Bulakovski and Ruby Vavra; grandchildren, Steve (Joy) Bulakovski, Jim Bulakovski, Mike (Bridgette) Vavra, Jeff Vavra and Stephanie (Troy) Easter; and great grandchildren, Jordon, Sasha and Cameron Bulakovski, Kaden, Ashten and Riley Vavra and Kennadi Easter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Lazo Sazdanoff.
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2011, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield where Trisagion services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 21, 2011, at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church conducted by Father Michael Ellis and Father Nicholas Hughes. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 265 W. 3rd Street, Mansfield. Online guest registry at www.wappner.com
