John was a great friend and a supporter of my 19 years at Main Street Church. He was an excellent Chairperson of the Finance Committee and lead the new Endowment Committee very effectively. Even though I always introduced John as "the guy who folds the papers downtown", I really knew better, Norma! Gere and I are sorry to be in Florida at the time of your loss but we are praying for you.
