Michael Tesso Obituary
CRESTLINE: Michael J. Tesso Jr., 37, of 211 North Wiley, Crestline, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Galion Community Hospital.
Michael was born in Galion on September 30, 1975 to Michael J. and Barbara J. (Gray) Tesso, Sr. He married Shannon M. Amore on September 27, 1998 and she survives him.
Michael was a 1994 graduate of Crestline High School. He was a member of Marantha Bible Baptist Church in Shelby. Michael was previously employed as Manager of the McDonald's in Crestline for ten years. He also worked at Poland's Hardware, Galion and Asplundh Tree Service in Bucyrus. On February 28, 2010 he began his employment with the CSX Railroad as a conductor. He was a member of the UTU (United Transportation Union), and the Gemini Social Club. Michael liked playing cards, especially poker. Michael loved spending time with his children and especially enjoyed watching them play sports. He also enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Cavs and The Ohio State University sports.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons; Jordan Tesso and Jonathan Tesso, his daughter, Jaelyn Tesso, all of Crestline; his brothers, Tim Tesso, Crestline, and Chris Tesso, Crestline, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Becky Amore, Crestline, his grandfather-in-law and grandmother-in-law, Bill and Shelby Amore, his aunts and uncles; Bill and Dorothy Tesso, Daniel and Lynette Manning, Doug and Brenda Crane, Audie Baker and Georgia Staats, and Herman and Vickie Gray, his uncles-in-law and aunts-in-law, Ronnie and Shelia Amore, Jason and Lisa Ensminger and Anastasia, his sister-in-law, Jamie Amore, Mansfield, his nieces and nephew, Alandra Tesso, Jenna Amore, Jeremiah Amore, and his friends, Tori, Joe, and Shelby McCleese, Galion.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Herman and Jeanette Gray and John and Florence Tesso.
Friends may call Monday, May 6, 2013, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Crestline. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Crestline, with Pastor Paul Mathewson and Rev. Michael A. Geiger officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Crestline.
