Mike Stump

TIRO: Mike Stump, 79, of Tiro, died Tuesday, February 16, 2016.

Mike was born February 18, 1936 to late Thomas and Marie (See) Stump and was a 1954 graduate of Tiro High School. Mike was a farmer and owned Stump Brothers Trucking.

Amongst his survivors are: three children: Carol (Brad) Mawhorr of Zanesville, Susan (Daniel) Shealy of Tiro, and Timothy Stump of Tiro; five grandchildren; and two two brothers: Leland (Vicki) Stump and Charles Stump. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine (Shaffer) Stump.

A gathering will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 beginning at 1 pm at the Tiro-Auburn Fire Station, 102 South Main Street, Tiro, Ohio 44887. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tiro-Auburn Fire Station or Home Care Matters Hospice in Galion. Care is being provided by the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby.
