Patricia "Patsy" Metz

MANSFIELD: Patricia "Patsy" Metz, 58, of Mansfield passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2015 in Ohio Health MedCentral Mansfield Hospital.

The daughter of Donald and Zella (Davis) Metz, Patsy was born on Valentine's Day, February 14, 1957 in Mansfield. She was a graduate of Malabar High School, class of 1975.

Patsy worked for Fuji/All Prints as well as Raintree.

She enjoyed reading and crocheting. Patsy attended Maranatha Bible Church in Shelby. A loving grandma, Patsy's grandson, Michael was the joy of her life who could light up her entire day.

She is survived by her husband, Philip Rhodes of Mansfield; daughter, Julie Metz; and son, Michael Metz both of Mansfield; grandson, Michael Metz; brothers, Don Jr. (Louri) Metz of Lexington and Kenneth Metz of Ontario; step children, Nichole, Charles, and Bradley Rhodes all of Mansfield; father-in-law, Charles Rhodes of Warsaw; as well as nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Zella Metz; infant sister, Mitzi; mother-in-law, Nancey Rhodes.

The family will receive friends Friday, February 20, 2015 from 4-7 p.m. in the Finefrock Chapel of the Marion Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where funeral services will be Saturday at 10:30am. Pastor Paul Mathewson will officiate and burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Metz Family may be made through the funeral home.
