Paul Kruger Obituary
GALION: Paul R. Kruger, Jr., 55, of 4176 State Route 288, Galion, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at his residence after a courageous battle with brain cancer.
Paul was born in Galion on October 11, 1956 to the late Paul R. and Marguerite C. (Dorian) Kruger.
Paul was employed by Gledhill Road Machinery as an assembler and welder for 14 years. He was a 1975 graduate of Northmor High School. For 32 years he was an Iberia Volunteer Fireman. Paul also worked for EMS and was a volunteer at the Morrow County Sherriff's Department. Paul farmed part-time and enjoyed gardening, golfing and astronomy.
He is survived by two sisters and two brothers; Magdalene Ford, Akron, Theresa Kruger, Cleveland, Tom (Diane) Kruger, Mt. Gilead, Tim (Beth) Kruger, Galion, numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to say thank you to all of Paul's friends and family who provided support and prayer during his illness.
Friends may call Friday June 22, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Galion. A vigil service will be held at 8:30pm at the funeral home led by Deacon Al Sisson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, June 23 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Galion, with Fr. John Miller, celebrant. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Galion.
Memorials contributions may be made to the American Brain Tumor Association or Special Olympics in care of the funeral home.

Our hearts are sad at the news of Pauls passing! He was a good friend and have nothing but fond memories of all the times we've spent with him! The NICEST man anyone could have known! He will be missed Dearly! Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family at this sad and difficult time!

Have known Paul for many years, we met when I volunteered for Iberia EMS, he was a great man with a beautiful smile and he will be dearly missed. Praying for Paul's family that God will give you strength and peace during this very sad difficult time.
