Tim and Diane, Sue was my hero on so many levels. She was my mentor and inspiration for spinning and learning to become a better knitter. She and Don made you feel as if you were the only person in their lives when you were in their presence. I have not visited with Sue in a number of years, but I think of her often. She was a true lady in every sense of the word, and an example of how to live a live of quiet strength and dignity. Her love for gardening and nature impacted me, and gave me a love for gardening. It saddens my heart that a special lady born of a special generation of wonderful people are slowly dwindling away. There was something unique about them, having gone through many serious and unusual experiences. It made them rich in knowledge and wisdom. May your memories of her be a blessing. My life was enriched for knowing her. Kim Edwards Opperman

Don and Susan helped shape my early years. I have nothing but wonderful memories of time spent at the farm. Susan would bring me ice cold mint tea on hot days, when I mowed grass. She always brought it in an old fashioned metal cup, the mint was always fresh from the patch. May the Lord bring comfort to Tim and Diane
