William Feagin Obituary
MANSFIELD: William Joseph "Billy Joe" Feagin, 74, passed this life unexpectantly Tuesday, August 28, 2012 in his home.
Mr. Feagin was born on Monday, January 10, 1938 to the late Ulee and Mary Webb Feagin in Jasper, Alabama and had lived in Mansfield over 60 years. Billy Joe was a dedicated employee of General Motors never missing work, and working 7 days whenever it was available even during shutdown. He retired from CPC/GM after 46 years of service. Billy Joe was a veteran of the U. S. Army, and a member of the United Auto Workers Union. He enjoyed motorcycle and car racing, and in his younger days he would race himself with his good friend John Hess. A quite man with a big smile, after retirement his morning ritual consisted of having breakfast at Bob Evans daily or coffee with fellow GM retirees.
Billy Joe is survived by 5 daughters: Carmen "Candy" (Lance) Burns, Stone Mountain, Georgia, Billie Jean Feagin, Cleveland, Debbie (Greg Martin) Jefferson, Columbus, Shannon Feagin, Dayton, and Darlene V. Feagin, Racine, Wisconsin; 2 grandchildren: Chante' Owens, Canal Winchester, and Rashad Owens, Denver, Colorado; and his giant baby, a black schnauzer named Simiko.
In addition to his parents his sister Vivian Chester preceded Billy Joe in death.
Friends may call Wednesday in the Ruth Anna Lee Williams Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Services one hour prior to the 12 noon funeral services. Interment will be in Mansfield Memorial Park Cemetery where military services will be held at graveside.
The family will also receive friends at the home of his friend Anne Brent (daughter Candy), 412 W. Sixth St., beginning Sunday till the day of service from 5-7 p.m.

Unlce Bill, I miss you to the moon and even though it's only been days; I can't imagine weeks, months or even years without you in my life. You have been in my life since the day I was born and no-one will ever come close to the person you were. I'm so thankful for the time we had together, politicking and hangin' out at McDonald's every morning to have breakfast.
