Bruce Klein Obituary

Bruce Klein
06/21/1945 - 06/18/2022
Resident of San Rafael
Bruce was born in San Francisco to the late Abe and Beatrice "Bee" Klein and was the loving son-in-law of the late Bob and Inez Rhine. He leaves behind his high school sweetheart and devoted wife of 53 years, Marsha. The proud father of Michelle (Jason) Fox, Scott Klein, and Brian (Allison) Klein; adored Grandfather of Julia & Jason Fox and Leah and Samuel Klein; the big brother of Alan (Ruth) Klein and Uncle to their children Naomi, David and Daniel; brother-in-law to Bob Rhine and Uncle to his daughter, Amy; and brother-in-law to Diane Herz and Uncle to her son, Jacob.
A proud Eagle Scout. He was a pretty handsome yell leader at George Washington High School. Bruce was an Alumni of City College of San Francisco, Hotel and Restaurant Department, and he earned his B.A. from San Francisco State College. Bruce proudly served as an Air Force reservist in the late 1960's based out of Travis Air Force Base.
Bruce was a meat salesman by profession, running his own company, and was a gourmet cook. He was Scoutmaster of Troop 38 in San Rafael. Bruce was an avid fan of the 49ers, Giants and Warriors. Some of the family's greatest memories were boating and water skiing in the Delta and having fun times snow skiing at Lake Tahoe. Bruce and Marsha were also avid RV'ers and loved traveling to Europe to locate Klein family roots.
Bruce was a sweet and loving man. He was a jokester, with a wonderful, quirky sense of humor and brought laughs and smiles to everyone who knew him.

You have been gone for 2 years and I miss you every day. With every day that passes, every old song I hear, every aroma of coffee, French fries or any good meal I enjoy, you are with me. Every hummingbird visit is you.
Thanks for checking on me Dad.
I love you,
Mishi

Love you forever and ever Dad! You gave us Klein kids the best of everything and were so patient with us as kids. I am definitely keeping Klein humor going in the younger generations. With every smirk and silly gesture any of
us make, I know you are giggling and proud that we are all keeping silliness strong in the family. While I cannot believe you have moved on to the next life, I know you are watching over us, chatting with family, & friends and of course loving on all of the fur babies that are ready to catch a ball for you up there.

Bruce you were the older brother I never had. I remember you coming to the house to visit Marsha and I think i was all but 8 yrs old at the time. You were always fun, always. You were the only one I could rough house with upstairs, and mom and dad used to yell up ...hey you will crack the plaster ceiling. Thanks for all the times you took me water skiing, cooked a dinner for me at your house, and just plain put up with my nonsense. You will be sorely missed my brother! Remember, stand on 17, 19 or 20...you have nothing to gain!
