I just found out today and I am truly in shock. I saw David about 9 months ago and he told me the wonderful news of his becoming a father. David was such an amazing person with a kind heart and always greeted you with a smile. He will truly be missed.

My heart goes out to Tika and little Indigo... as well as, David and Tika's immediate family and loved ones... it's just an unimaginable loss. My condolences are sent, as a friend of a close family member, who always shared his love for this family with such deep adoration. May all the love, care and support pouring in for this whole family be of some comfort and healing as they come to the acceptance of David's death, preserving their fond memories and everlasting love to be with him in a place of Peace.

We just can’t believe it. We are so very sorry for your loss. We knew David since 2004 when he helped us build a beautiful new deck and a yard in San Francisco. He also helped our son remodeled a family room in their house. We saw David as late as last year in December when he told us that he was going to be a father for the first time. He was so very happy about that and so looking forward to be a dad.
We will always remember his good nature and relax manner and his SMILE. He was professional and easy to work with even when we encountered headaches during the construction period. He was just an all around nice guy. We will miss him greatly. Our hearts go out to Tika, his son and his family.

I feel so fortunate to have known and been friends with David. He was the kind of guy who would give you the shirt of his back and think nothing of it. I will always remember the many poker nights he hosted and our infamous annual golf outings in Las Vegas. Your free spirit lives on in all who knew you. RIP David!

I will remember Dave for his kindness and his enthusiasm for life, as well as his unrefined love, excitement and sheer joy over the birth of his son. Rest In Peace Brother.

Thank God for the wonderful people on this planet. David was one of them. Full of love and an enormous smile. Being a husband and father seemed to fulfill him. God bless his family and give them the strength to go forward.
