DONNA M. COWGER

Donna M. (Augusto) Cowger Dec. 6, 1941 May 24, 2013 Donna, age seventy-one, left us on May twenty-forth, 2013 at Rafael Convalescent Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born December 6, 1941 to Carl and Marie Augusto of San Rafael. She attended St. Raphael's Grammar School and San Rafael High School. Donna worked for Pacific Telephone. She moved to Idaho when she married Glenn Cowger, an airman from Hamilton. They raised two daughters, Leanne and Tammara. Donna returned to San Rafael and worked for Yardbirds. She always had a big smile for her customers and kept "doggie treats" for all the animals. She was very well liked by everyone who met her and will be sorely missed by all her family and friends. Donna was predeceased by her parents, Carl and Marie Augusto and a brother Michael Augusto. She is survived by her sister Rita Pickrel, two brothers, Carl Augusto (Pamela) and Robert Augusto (Dorthea), her daughters, Leanne Patza (Jarrod) of Colorado and Tammara Bartlett (Shane) of Idaho, six grandchildren. Her family wishes to thank the staff at Rafael Convalescent Hospital and Hospice by the Bay. A memorial mass will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1000 Cambridge Street Novato, June 6, 2013 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Helping Hands of St. Anthony's or your favorite charity.
