F. Tuck Obituary
Jim Tuck F. James Tuck, Sr. passed away in Santa Rosa, CA, November 23rd, 2006 at the age of 80. Jim was a native of Kentfield, CA. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Connie Tuck of OFRC, Guerneville, CA; his children, Margy Tuck of Osaka, Japan; Scott and Caroline Murray of Oronogo, MO; Donna (Tuck) and Kurt Young of Deer Lake, WA; Jim Jr. and Cindy Tuck of Penngrove, CA; Dianne "DeDe" (Tuck) Cool of OFRC, Guerneville, CA; John Clark of Santa Rosa and the late Jim Clark. His grandchildren will also miss him terribly, Scott Murray of Oronogo, MO; Colecia and Scott Reuscher of Oronogo, MO; Arisa (Cavasso) and Daniel McRoberts of Kuna, ID; Ken Cavasso Jr. of Kuna, ID; Lisa and Jennilee Williams of Deer Lake, WA; Taylor Melson of Ojai, CA, Kallee Cool of OFRC, Guerneville, CA; Tyler, Alexander, Courtney and Emily Tuck of Penngrove, CA; and lastly his great grandchildren; Jacob, Tiffany and Nicholas McRoberts of Kuna, ID; and Tyler Reuscher of Oronogo, MO. Jim, a longtime and prominent resident of the Russian River area was a distinguished architect for the U.S. Navy while serving his country and in civilian life. He received numerous appointments (1944, 1966, 1975, 1980 and 1994) for naval projects during his career. Locally, he was an active member of the Russian River Rotary Club, serving twice as it's President (when it was known as the Guerneville Rotary Club). He received many awards, including "Distinguished Service Award" in 1994-1995 and "Rotarian of the Year". He also was a 50 year plus member of the Masonic Lodge, belonging to the Ophir Bear Mountain Masonic Lodge F & AM #33 of Murphy's CA and the Jackson Masonic Lodge F & AM #295 of Guerneville. Jim was a longtime member of the Sebastopol V.F.W. A Celebration of Jim's Life will be held in January. At his request, his cremains will be scattered at sea by the U.S. Navy.
