I was Gail's caregiver in her last years in life, she was a tough cookie but she taught me so much about life and that I will never forget. I miss you like crazy even tho we drove each other like crazy. I'll always love you and miss you terribly! I love you Gail, you will never be forgotten. Love, Jessica (your best caregiver/adopted daughter)

I will miss Gail. Our relationship was mainly by phone and yet our conversation could go on for a long while. Over the 7+ yrs. we shared these conversations, I found we were of like mind in many areas. Thus, Gail was easy for me to open up. Gail WILL be missed. To many of us that is a given. God Bless and console her family leaving them with only the best of memories.

Gail was a student of mine in the 60's. I adored her. She was usually late, grumpy, desheveled, dressed in a trench coat. She did well in my class and was so naturally entertaining with her drier than dry humor and "what you see is what you get" demeanor. Many years later she subbed at Drake High School where I was Principal in the '90's. She was still a little grumpy, still dry and still funny. I'm so sorry to hear that she has passed away, still fairly young and, I'm sure, still a lot of fun for those who knew and understood her. She was one of a kind for sure.
