I met Harriet at a health farm 40 years ago. She quickly became my surrogate parent. By the time I had Isabel almost all my older family members had died. Harriet became "Grandma Hattie" to Isabel and they shared a very close relationship. Her loss has been very hard for both of us. In the last weeks before she died, we all just wanted her to be pain free. It made my day when she would smile; it lit up her face. Harriet had so many people who cared about her, more than she ever imagined.
The staff at Fleet Landing were exceptional. From Eddie in security to Lorrie in environmental services, she charmed them all. Everyone of them brightened her day and asked after her every time I saw them. Thank you for what you did for her! Vicky, Rosie, Shakita, Karen, Carey, Lorrie, Ed, Whezzie, Pattie, Amy, Elizabeth, Sarah, Timmy, and so many others. Thank you for making it easier for me, as well. THANK YOU.

I am grateful to have shared a friendship with Petzi for more than 20 years, almost the entire time she lived at Fleet Landing; I met her because she & my mother were such close friends. Petzi faced her final weeks of life with courage & dignity, & I feel privileged to have shared treasured memories with her on several visits with her throughout that time. My heartfelt sympathy to David, Barbara, Deborah, & granddaughter Isabel, who was the light of Petzi's life.

Petzi will be greatly missed. Vivacious, fun, upbeat, and full of grace, she was always fun to be around. In the last years of my mother's life, Petzi was my mother's best friend, and we alwsys appreciated that friendship. I will forever treasure the last time I saw Petzi, when we had lunch together a couple of years ago at Fleet Landing. We love you, my dear, but we are glad you are where you can see some of your old friends.
