It is with great sadness that we say farewell to a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend Jane "Bunny" Everett Cobb, of
Belvedere, California. Bunny was surrounded by her family as she departed peacefully on June 8, 2023. We were privileged to know and love such an intelligent, graceful and generous woman. Bunny had a gift for making people feel special, warm and welcome in her presence. Bunny Cobb was born in
Napa, California, on January 4, 1942. The youngest of three children of Wallace W. Everett, Jr. and Mignon Swihart Everett. Along with her brother, Wallace III, and sister, Jean, Bunny enjoyed growing up in the Napa Valley riding her beloved horse Karim Star. Bunny graduated from The Branson School in
Ross, California, where she forged many lifelong friendships.Bunny was admired and respected for her professional integrity and success as one of Marin's most accomplished real estate agents. She represented hundreds of families and individuals, helping them find homes or ease the transition and stress of negotiating the sale of their property. Although her work provided immense fulfillment, she also prided herself as an active member of her local community. Bunny served on The Branson School's Board of Trustees and contributed greatly to the growth and development of an educational institution she cherished. In addition, Bunny was a founder of The Marin Designer Showcase and a leader for The San Francisco Junior League where her work impacted many Bay Area communities. Those fortunate enough to call Bunny family also experienced her benevolence and warm, nurturing nature. One of her greatest joys came from her role as a matriarch, mother, and grandmother. She was deeply devoted to her family and treasured the time spent with her four children. That love grew as she became "Granby" to nine wonderful grandchildren with whom she made special connections. She loved to enrich their lives with strong family traditions and happy memories. She created a warm, welcoming home filled with family, friends, and celebrations.Bunny met the love of her life in 2007 and she and David Cobb enjoyed 15 years of wedded happiness. Their kindness, compassion, and love for each other was obvious to all who knew them. Bunny and David's time together was focused on the San Francisco Bay spread out from their home over the water. Bunny's days could be spent enjoying the views of Angel Island and the San Francisco skyline or cruising the Bay and Delta on their boat "Sea Breeze". A warm Sunday would include brunch on the deck followed by a game or two of dominoes, reading ,or socializing with friends at the San Francisco Yacht Club.Bunny was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Mignon Everett, older brother, Wallace W. Everett III and former husband, David Kehl. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, David Cobb; adoring children, Jean (Jeffrey) Dal Porto, D. Christian Kehl, Cynthia (John) Greenfield, and Jonathan (Sarah) Kehl; grandchildren, Paige (Royce) Molick, Alysa (Alexander) Hoese, Kathryn (Lane) Aldredge, Andrew Greenfield, Jonathan "Jake" Dal Porto, William Dal Porto, Robinson Kehl, Nicholas Kehl, and Julia Kehl; dear sister, Jean Livermore, extended family and a host of close friends and loved ones.Bunny touched many lives during her time on Earth. Her beautiful legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace. Family kindly requests donations to Muttville Senior Dog Rescue at PO Box 410207 San Francisco, CA 94141.
