The Fusso house perched above Topaz Drive has now been sold to a new family. The house is in beautiful condition and we think of Joe and Ellen when we pass by. They would be proud to know the house was providing warmth and shelter to another growing family.

With the passing of Ellen and now of Joe, we have lost them from our sight, but we'll never lose them from our hearts. They were delightful, interesting, loving neighbors. Every year near Christmas, we would join them in their home for tea and cookies and conversation. Joe walked the Bahia neighborhood often, and he knew almost everyone. We called him the Mayor of Bahia. I am saddened by joe's passing and I'll miss seeing the little Toyota with license tag JO N LN on our streets. But, in my mind, I can still feel Joe's strong handshake and hear Ellen's sparkling laugh.

My brother and I enjoyed a close relationship, especially during the past few years being caregivers for our mates. Joe was a very devoted husband, father and brother who gave generously of his time and wisdom and we were both grateful for our parents, family, and all those who we were fortunate enough to know in our lifetimes.
